Liquid Music heads to southern Utah for a new partnership with Center for the Arts at Kayenta. Nestled in a breathtaking desert landscape, the Center is known for its commitment to fostering creativity and showcasing exceptional artistic talent. Liquid Music is thrilled to join forces with the Center, led by Miranda Wright (founder of LA Performance Practice), to present inspiring, boundary-defying work in an intimate yet awe-inspiring setting.

Woven into one intimate program, Inheritances tells a universal story of lineage, loss, and place—a meditation on confronting our past while moving into the future. With new works by commissioned composers Devonté Hynes, Nico Muhly, Laurie Anderson, inti figgis-vizueta, Pamela Z, Ted Hearne, Angélica Negrón, Christopher Cerrone, Marcos Balter, Missy Mazzoli, Darian Donovan Thomas, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Scott Wollschleger, Mary Prescott, Timo Andres and John Glover.

Located in the gorgeous desert of southern Utah, Center for the Arts at Kayenta produces and presents over 50 events annually, with a total of approximately 120 individual performances, across the artistic disciplines of theater, music, dance, storytelling, and humanities-based lectures.
